Description
The group in Forest Row has been running since September 2022. During warm weather we sing outdoors while walking around Forest Row, singing by rivers, under trees and spending time honouring the sacred land. In cold weather, we sometimes use the Anderida Centre in Forest Row, or if the group is small we have access to a barn with a wood burning stove.
We will sing rounds and harmonies from many traditions and languages around the globe. African, Celtic, Rainforest, Gospel and much more…
Since I began teaching in 2017, I have taught songs from many inspiring harmony teachers like John Bowker and numerous NVN singers from past and present.
No singing experience needed. All songs are taught by ear.
After singing, we usually have a social gathering and find somewhere in the town for food.
Costs on a sliding scale £30, £20, £10, but please don’t let finances stop you from coming. All are welcome.
