Sacrae: the Cambridge sacred song circle

Location

Romsey Mill or the Flamsteed Road scout hut, Cambridge

Description

An opportunity for stillness and song, a time to recharge and connect.  Sacrae has been running for about five years, meeting once or twice a month at the weekends.  It is led by Anna McIvor and myself, and is a held space to sing sacred harmony song.  Everything is taught by ear, and beginner and experienced singers all welcome.  Songs are chosen for their beauty, simplicity and intention.  It is an opportunity for stillness as well as harmony, and a space to connect with the sacred, whatever that may mean to you.

The songs may be be inspired by different spiritual traditions or practices, including Taize, Harmonic Temple and Sufism. There is time for tea & chat afterwards.

We may be meeting at Romsey Mill or the Flamsteed Road scout hut, usually from 2pm – 3.30pm.  All sessions £12/£10/£7.
