We are an open access choir and our main aim is to enjoy singing together in harmony. There are no auditions, and no need to read music.

“The choir has been singing together since 2005 and Ysanne took over in March 2024.  With a passion for music that ignites the soul, Ysanne brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the ensemble. Her innovative and fun approach to choral direction promises to inspire and elevate the voices of the choir members, creating harmonies that resonate with the community. Under her guidance, Petersfield Community Choir is poised to reach new heights, uniting voices in song and spreading joy through music. Our new term starts on September 11th 2024.

We have two main concerts a year to share our music with friends, family and the local community. The concerts are free with a retiring collection.

Since we formed the choir has raised over £20, 000 for local charities.

The choir also take part in community events such as wassailing and carolling as well as organising and attending joint choir days and workshops.
