Workshop to learn the pub carols which we will be singing together in the Gregson bar on Tuesday evening, December 9 2025 –  we will be joined by Lakeland Voices, a local community choir who have been singing these songs for over 20 years.

David Burbidge will be teaching the songs by ear, but written music is available for home study if requested. Recordings are available on my free SoundCloud site.

Our songs include the Boar’s Head, Pentonville, Old Foster, Diadem, Curly Hark, Halsay carol, Gaudete, Shepherds Arise,  Jacobs Well….and others.

David Burbidge has led community choirs in Lancaster, the Lake District, Scotland and Slovenia for over 30 years – often singing in pubs and on mountain paths.
