Based in Rugby, this is an umbrella group which includes Circlesong – the weekly singing group led by Jane Bursnall, and Wide Open Voices – singing in the great outdoors during a guided walk.
Circlesong is a small (around 20 people) community singing group which meets in the centre of Rugby, Warwickshire, every Monday evening during school term-time.
We aim to be warm and supportive to anyone who wants to sing. Since we set up the group in January 2016, we have welcomed people who thought they could not sing, or who had been told they could not sing, and have become a confident and harmonious group. Like all Natural Voice groups, we welcome everyone, regardless of whether they have any singing experience or not, and teach all the songs by ear. We sing songs from a variety of traditions, new and old, from around the world.
Open Voices aims to be a group responsive to the interests and suggestions of the singers, and we welcome feedback from members.
