Further information:

Corddi – Welsh for ‘to shake up or agitate’. A radical choir based in Drefach Felindre.

Right now so many things stir up strong feelings and awaken the passion to put right what you feel is wrong, to speak out, to stand up and be counted: the Trump administration, environmental destruction, gender and racial inequality, to name a few… But it is not always easy to find ways to act positively and to find an outlet for feelings of discontent.

This choir will provide a space to express our feelings of dissatisfaction with the current world order, find and create a community, and go out into the world with a strong voice!

Our repertoire will include songs of peace, justice and equality. We will share our songs at events, protests and marches. This choir will be run in a democratic and grass roots way – so come with songs and ideas as well as your voices and passion!

We are open to all, even those with no experience of singing. We welcome parents with children, activities will be provided for young children. Please let us know if you have any accessibility or other needs.

Cost will be £5 – £10 depending on numbers (the more people the less we all pay)
There will be cake!

Lle i ddarganfod a chreu cymuned a mynd allan i’r byd gyda llais cryf! Byddwn yn canu caneuon am heddwch, cyfiawnder a chydraddoldeb a byddwn yn perfformio yn ystod digwyddiad, protestiadau a gorymdeithiau.
Rydym yn agored i bawb, gan gynnwys plant a phobl sydd heb unrhyw brofiad o ganu.
Rhowch wybod i ni os oes gennych unrhyw anghenion o rhan hygyrchedd neu anghenion eraill.
£7.50 misol 10.30am – 1pm ar fore Sul yn Derwlwyn, SA44 5UG
