Further information:

The EDI choir (formerly known as the Complaints Choir) started in June 2017, initially as a short term project to enable staff and students at the University of Bristol express their feelings about life in the university specifically around the issues of equality, diversity and inclusivity. The group took part in a series of drama based workshops which helped to identify particular issues and then I took what they had said and wrote a song, which the group then learned and performed at a university event in the autumn of 2017. The song/choir was received really well and the group has since been invited to perform at three other university events.

We recently received funding for another year so the EDI choir now meets every Monday, 1-2pm in the Common Room at 8 Priory Road, Bristol. We have written one new song already and are now looking for places to perform.
