Further information:

This is a Friday afternoon choir, set near Barry Castle ruin (Yes, Barry has a castle ruin! – as well as 5 wonderful beaches – and woodland around too.)

Drop-in fee is £6 per session and if you pay in advance for a term the fee works out at £4.50 per session.

We do fairly regular events, both locally and in Cardiff (singing with other choirs I run).  We have sung for tree plantings in the very local Porthkerry Park, for the “Coming of the Light” in Knap Gardens, for Barry Friend and Neighbours run by local hero Gaye Fifeild (MBE). We processed for the Barry Festival for Nature, Peace and Friendship, then performed on the main stage… and more local events..

Also most recently, we performed in St David’s Hall for the Family Prom for a 2nd year among other choirs led by Laura (110 singers in total) singing with Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra, with the whole event being mc’d by local BBC Wales weather people Derrick Brockway and Behnaz Akhgar.

Looking forward to raising funds and singing in Sing For Water Cardiff,  May 17th 2020. See the video for the 2017 event –
