We meet at the Amida Mandala Buddhist Temple in Malvern, Worcestershire.
4th Saturday of every month – 10.30am to 12.00am
We are a choir whose repertoire falls within Buddhist ethics as much as possible. Much of the material is based on North Indian Classical styles, particularly use of rags and alap. We also enjoy singing rounds with a Buddhist theme. We did our first public sharing on Tuesday 16th May 2017 as part of the Diversity Day at Worcester Royal Hospital.
We practise after the Saturday morning service on the 4th Saturday of every month. Everyone who enjoys singing is welcome, but please respect the temple’s ethics and only bring in vegetarian food and refrain from alcohol. Children under 16 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
