Further information:

Sing for a Change! is a relatively new community choir based in Hoxton using the power of music to transform society!

Working with Citizens UK we are more than just a community choir or a political choir, but a choir that takes action. Using community organising methodology we are creating a community who love to sing and also a community with the power to make a change.

We sing some of those classic songs of freedom, justice, love and activism, and we also find songs from all genres to fit with the issues we want to sing about. We also occasionally have a stab at writing our own songs about the issues most important to us.

The choir is open to everyone (secondary school age and above), no experience necessary just enthusiasm.

We meet on Wednesday evenings (during term time mostly) in Hoxton –

Each session costs £5 although we don’t want this to be a barrier. If you feel you cannot afford to pay but would like to be part of the choir please get in touch.
