Are you joining our interactive challenge?

This is an acapella project to see us through the Autumn and Winter singing term. You can join us online– and you will get a new song each week, with lyrics, video tutorials and recorded sound files for each section of the choir for 12 songs over 12 weeks, sent to the singers weekly in advance. We then all “rehearse” on Monday nights online from 6.30 – 8pm, using the Zoom meeting system – we run over each part and then put them together using a pre-recorded track, so it sounds like singing together in harmony!

There are so many great acapella singers out there who may now be out of practice from their usual choirs and may not have an opportunity to sing regularly at the level they are used to. You’re all welcome to join us!

If you just want to come for random weeks, for example if you like the look of one of the songs we’re doing and want to just do that one, that’s fine- it costs £10 for the 1.5 hour session (with ALL learning materials included.) Otherwise, if you sign up for the whole thing, you get a discount (12 weeks for the price of 9, or £7.50 per week.) Check out the videos for some of the songs we do HERE.

If you’d rather just join a one-off workshop instead, you can do that with my Nottingham Voice Collective workshops, which are better for those who want to a no-pressure sing, and the 12-Week Challenge is better for those with experience of learning acapella by ear.

HOW TO JOIN THE ONLINE CHALLENGE

1. Book your place at www.totallyvocally.com

2. Abi will send you video tutorials, audio files and lyrics for the song, and a Meeting ID and password to join the workshop.

3. If you’re using a computer/laptop, download the free Zoom software in advance. Click here to get it. If you’re using a phone/iPad, you can download the free Zoom app.

4. Have your Meeting ID and password ready and then click the Meeting link you were sent, ready to join the singing on the day. (Maybe be there a little earlier in case of tech issues.)
