60/50 Live Launch of LGBT+ collaborative piece and performances.

Part of the celebration launch of the latest 60/50 installation including a collaborative interpretation of the painting The Cruel Sister by John Faed which questions concepts of gender and identity. Jez Dolan has created an on going series of artist led interventions which cast a new light on Bury`s art collection from a queer perspective.

The exhibition also features work from Phil Sayers, and the 60/50 Live event will stage two special commissions: Greg Stephens will be joined by singers Kate Barfield (NVN)  and Esther Brennan to interpret versions of the Cruel Sister and related songs and “A Vocation” performed  by Joshua Val Martin will also be performed.
