Jane explains the background to this, our first Songways singing weekend for two years:

The chapel is an extraordinary space, wonderfully resonant and filled with natural light filtering in from above. I first sang there about five years ago with a group of women’s voices and promised myself that one day I would lead a singing weekend there. Like everything, it had to be postponed due to Covid, but it’s finally happening.

I’m delighted to be leading the weekend with my fellow Rolling Harmony singer, Clara Atkins, an accomplished singer and experienced choir leader. We’ll be teaching a wide range of songs from different harmony singing traditions to experience the acoustics and the space to the full. Join us for a joyous weekend.
