Are you ready to expand your choir to a level where it becomes your livelihood? You know you’re good at leading people in song and now you’re ready to turn your passion into a serious profession.
Marion Van Namen is artistic director of Sing Portland! and a choir director with an MBA. She recruited 100 singers in the first year of Sing Portland!’s existence, and last spring performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City (by invitation).
She can help you grow your choir, work through blocks you keep stumbling against such as promoting yourself, attracting singers that are as committed as you are, charging what you’re worth.
Through a 4-month program, with two Zoom meetings per month, you’ll work in small groups (max 8 participants) to turn your choir into a thriving, sustainable business. Each meeting you will learn new curriculum such as recruiting singers, building sustainability, defining your business model, how to fill the sales funnel, how to network, where to find referral partners, etc. and half the session will be spend answering YOUR questions.
Starting early September. US$200/month, 4-month commitment required.
