  • Have you ever sung a Taizé song and wanted  to learn more than the tune?
  • Heard of Taizé music but would like to know it better?

Come and spend an afternoon, learning Taizé songs in parts with:

  • Rev. Jan Gould, priest in charge of the Church of the Resurrection, Ely, Cardiff and founder of Making Music Changing Lives. Formerly a professional musician, she also spent time as a Cantor at the Taizé community in France.
  • Rebecca Ballard is a Choir Leader and member of the Natural Voice Practitioners’ Network (NVPN) and parishioner at St Francis of Assisi in Cardiff.

Then share soup and a roll with all the participants afterwards.

Jan and Rebecca would love you to join them and other regular attenders of the Monthly Taizé Prayer at the Church of the Resurrection at 6:30pm.

There will be no charge for the afternoon, but you will be welcome to make a donation to cover cost of the Soup.

Tea and coffee will be provided during the afternoon, but we suggest you bring a bottle of water, too.

Any funds left over after covering costs, will support Making Music Changing Lives, launched in 2009 by Jan, after she was inspired by a similar project in Venezuela called El Sistema.
