EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST.  If you’re around in Rottweil on the edge of the Black Forest in Germany on 3 November or 17 or 29 December, come and join us singing seasonal songs and carols – all taught by ear (no problem if you don’t read music) – and all taught in English.

So if English is your second language, and you’re looking for a fun way to become more fluent, or if you fancy joining a group with a relaxed approach to harmony singing…opportunity knocks! You’ll also be able to sing with the Singing Cyclists from the UK, when they come to Rottweil on their bikes in April to enjoy your fabulous cycle ways.

And if you would like to come with Lucia to our Folk Carols festival here in the village of Dent, in Cumbria near the Scottish border, we have some lovely accommodation in village cottages – a warm-hearted “willkommen” awaits you. There are very reasonably priced flights with Ryanair from Stuttgart to Manchester and then a short rail journey north to our hills.

As well as the songs in English and Slovenian which you’ll learn with us in Rottweil, there will be other carols you can sing with us if you join us in Dent, which you will already know, such as Stille nacht heilige nacht, and Süßer die Glocken nie klingen.
