Further information:

Sarah Pennington and Gilo return to Othona for this annual event, with songs from a wide variety of traditions to make this ancient place ring with harmonies. All sessions take place in the wonderful acoustics of the Chapel of St-Peter-on-the-Wall, which has stood since the year 650. The sound in the chapel has a quality nowhere else can come close to, and with candlelight in the evenings it looks truly magical.
No need to read music or think or yourself as a singer. Just bring your voice and a willingness to sing. Best to book early as this is always a popular event.
“Sarah and Gilo are that rare phenomenon, teachers who are willing to let go and allow the song to live on its own – magic!” – Festival participant
“It was great to see how you both create an atmosphere of trust that empowers people to sing. It’s clear that you both enjoy working together.” – Festival participant
This is a weekend event with the option to join in just for the day on Saturday 25th April. Registration and tea/coffee from 10am, workshop starts at 10.30am and includes lunch. Participants can choose whether to stay for supper and a further evening session with the chapel aflicker with candlelight.
