Join us in the wonderfully atmospheric Underskiddaw village hall, nestling at the foot of one of the Lake District’s highest mountains, surrounded by holly and ivy, running deer and singing choirs. Our songs will include Sheffield pub carols, old medieval carols, west gallery carols, old folk carols – as well as carols from other countries including Slovenia and the Neapolitan bagpipers’ carol.
All songs taught by ear (though recordings, words and written music can be sent in advance) – and there’ll be a chance to take our songs outside to sing by the beck and through the woods on the fellside. Refreshments available – Please bring lunch to share. Lift shares can be arranged – as well as lifts from Penrith railway station if arriving by 9:15 am.
