In Good Voice Presents

Join one of the most experienced teachers of acapella harmony singing in the UK. Chris Rowbury will be sharing the delights of two of the world’s oldest and most inspiring singing traditions – the rich harmony singing of the Republic of Georgia stretches back thousands of years, whilst the infectious rhythms and exuberance of songs from across Africa go back to the very first humans. We will experience a fabulous range of songs, from gentle Georgian healing songs to full-throated gospel from South Africa, from hypnotic chants of West African Yoruba culture to the gorgeous clashing harmonies of the orthodox church in Georgia.

Chris teaches everything by ear (no need to read music). No previous experience needed – just bring yourself and have a go. Whether you’ve only ever sung in the shower, or you’re already in a choir, there will be something here for everyone.

Chris Rowbury has 30 years’ experience as a patient, charismatic teacher with a relaxed style laced with plenty of humour. He will get you singing in wonderful harmony in a matter of minutes.
