APRIL HEART & SOUL SINGING RETREAT CANCELLED
Due to the current global situation it is with deep regret that Keely has decided to cancel the Heart and Soul Singing Group due to meet on the 27th – 29th April.
As per our Terms and Conditions and our Cancellation Policy should you wish to cancel you would lose your deposit as it is non-refundable, however, we are offering to put this on hold for you should you wish to make another booking with us in the next 18 months – this does not have to be part of a Group Booking, it can be as a private booking, however, Keely will be organising another Heart and Soul Singing Group for 2021 and you may wish your deposit to be transferred to this.
We hope that this meets with your approval and we look forward to hearing from as to the course of action you would like to take.
We send all very best wishes from Rydal Hall.
All are welcome to join the Heart & Soul Singing Retreats. This means that there will be a mix of people who have sung before and people who haven’t and every other singing experience in between.
Rydal Hall is a Christian Conference Centre residing in 34 acres of stunning parkland in the heart of the English Lake District.
The singing sessions are informal and no previous singing experience, or the ability to read music, is required. A varied repertoire of songs and rounds are shared. Keely teaches each harmony part in a call and response way so that a song is built up in small and memorable portions. As we listen to each harmony part, we build up a sense of the whole song and where we fit in.
Singing retreats offer an opportunity to take time out whilst discovering the joy of using your unique voice in harmony with others: combine singing in harmony with rest, nurturing and inspiration!
A typical singing retreat programme:
- Day 1: Guests arrive from 4pm and an evening meal is followed by introductions and a gentle sing.
- Day 2: the morning is divided into two singing sessions with a coffee break. After lunch, guests are free to relax, explore the surrounding area. Following afternoon tea, a singing session brings everyone together before the evening meal. A gentle night-sing is offered.
- Day 3: the morning’s sessions bring together the songs that have been shared and our time is rounded off with lunch and an opportunity for some parting songs before departures from mid-afternoon.
