Hosted by Songways, Northern Harmony, the unique world-music vocal ensemble from Vermont in the US, will be performing in the beautiful setting of St Swithin’s Church, and giving a singing workshop to share their wonderful songs and voices. Open to all.

5 – 6.30pm Singing workshop 
Join Larry Gordon and Northern Harmony for a workshop including American shape-note singing, gospel, and South African song and dance. Northern Harmony singers will support each vocal part, making the teaching particularly efficient and rewarding. No experience necessary.

Pot-luck supper for workshop participants with Northern Harmony singers
IMPORTANT: If you would like join the potluck supper, please bring a plate of food to share PLUS your own plate, cutlery, glass, drinks, etc. 

8pm Northern Harmony concert
A vibrant evening of world harmony traditions including South African songs and dances, traditional polyphony from Georgia, Corsica, and the Balkans, American shape-note singing and quartet gospel, and renaissance motets.
