Sound Infusion full moon Halloween event, facilitated by Gavin Frank and Siobhan Swider.
All welcome wherever in the world you are.
“All Hallows Eve” has its origins in the ancient Celtic festival known as Samhain. The ancient Gaels believed that on October 31st, the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead overlapped. Using different practices, we will honour our ancestors and those that have gone on before.
Come and explore the power of chant and mantra in a session of world chants honouring the ancestors and rebirth. Find your true voice exploring breath, body and heart to access our own unique sound. No vocal experience is required.
Siobhan will be offering Yin yoga and a soundbath with a mindfulness body scan.Yin yoga is a deep mindful practice that has so many health benefits including releasing tension and trauma held in the body, slows the aging process and when practiced mindfully can be a meditative practice.
You’ll be bathed in a healing sound journey with the divine alchemy crystal singing bowls, tibetan singing bowls, ancient gong and healing harp. All these pure vibrations can transport you into a deep meditative state where profound healing can take place.
Please bring any yoga props, mat and anything else to be comfortable.
No yogic or voice experience needed. We really hope you can join us!
