Further information:

All welcome – no drumming experience is needed. We’ll play beautiful samba drums and percussion instruments as we learn exciting rhythms from the carnival music of Brasil. From the relaxed feel of ‘Samba Reggae’ to the upbeat ‘Batucada’, we’ll be tapping our feet – the joy of the music is infectious! We’ll be singing short, popular songs (that you know), with harmonies to add spice to the mix, as rhythm and song come together.

Heather provides the drums and other instruments, plus a handout to take away. Please also let us know if you’d like a CPD (continued professional development) certificate for this arts in health and wellbeing event. Refreshments are included too. You’ll leave this unforgettable afternoon with a spring in your step.
