SAMBA rhythm and song WORKSHOP this May, in the stunning setting of the Myddfai Community Hall, near Llandovery.
We’ll play beautiful samba drums and percussion instruments as we learn exciting rhythms from the carnival music of Brazil. From the relaxed feel of ‘Samba Reggae’ to the upbeat ‘Batucada’, we’ll be tapping our feet – the joy of the music is infectious! We’ll be singing short, popular songs (that you know), with harmonies to add spice to the mix, as with rhythm and song come together. Drums and other instruments are provided, plus a handout to take away. Please also let us know if you’d like a CPD (continued professional development) certificate for this arts in health and well-being event. You’ll leave this unforgettable afternoon with a spring in your step.
