Come and raise your voice to support others who do not have access to clean water and sanitation. This event will raise money for Sing for Water – a national charity linked to Water Aid.
In the morning we will meet at Hoot Creative Arts, Bates Mill, Milford St, Huddersfield HD1 3DX from 10 til 12.30 – we learn a short set of simple songs with a watery theme. If you’ve sung with Sing for Water before all the better – you may know some of the songs and be able to support those who don’t.
Then we will walk the Huddersfield Narrow Canal from Huddersfield to Marsden (come to all, come to part, walk as far as you can manage) stopping off at regular intervals and places to sing our set, shake our buckets and raise some dosh. Hopefully it will be blazing sun – if it’s pouring with rain we’ll consider options
All profits will go to Sing for Water National. Please book IN ADVANCE by emailing Jenny at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 07984 584923
Please note you walk at your own risk
