Workshop 1 – Soulful singing with sound bath  9.30am till 1pm

The art of creating music in the beauty of pure sound. You will learn how to access your ability to sing with simple vowels along with the most beautiful instruments like a gong. Hand pans, djembe tribal chants, creating amazing sound scape with voices and trusting your instinct to create as one. Calming the mind and the spirit to a unique workshop that will touch the soul. You will have an opportunity to play with these instruments to jam with the group
All voice abilities welcome.

Workshop 2 – World music, sound bath with gongs, drums, handpans, 2pm till 5.30pm

Learn chants and simple songs from all over the world – native American, African, Celtic, simple rhythms and words with native drums and hand pans and gongs to uplift you and open your hearts and minds to other cultures and traditions with modern instruments.
You will have an opportunity to play with these instruments to jam with the group
All voice abilities welcome.

• Chrissy Foster is an experienced community choir leader. She runs 3 successful choirs in Dorset. She has completed several courses on improvisation choir leading and breathing and singing techniques.
• Chrissy is in a new world pagan folk band called the Lost Tribe of the T Cup Turtles and is a singer song writer, plays the hand pan to weave beautiful music about nature, festivals and the process of life.
• Owner and producer of Sound Space, Guided meditations and sound journeys using gongs, tubes, rainsticks, drone flutes, and hand pans to really take you off in another world.
• Joint owner of Drumba, drumming for the brain. Running drum circles and going into homes teaching rhythms and singing chanting in care homes.
• She will make you feel at ease and before you know it you will be having fun feeling relaxed, and learning something new.

If you are attending all day please bring lunch. Refreshments are available at the bar, and snacks and soft drinks will be provided.
