Celebrate the return of spring on this fabulous day which we have been doing each year for over two decades.

We’ll be learning a few songs with harmony in the Skelwith Bridge community centre near Ambleside from 10am. Then singing them on a singing walk via waterfalls, woods, vast Lakeland caverns, serene lakes and country pubs…and learning a few more songs on the hoof.

All welcome – please bring a packed lunch for a picnic lunch by waterfalls, wear good boots and waterproofs, as well as your sense of humour and beautiful singing voice.

Workshop is from 10am-12:30pm, our low level circular walk through some of the most beautiful countryside in the Lake District is about 6 miles long on country footpaths. The walk can be made shorter by using the bus half way. We can help arrange lift shares, and accommodation – or advice about public transport. There is free parking at the community centre.

Cost: £29.50 for the day – includes coffee, teas and refreshments in community centre
