I was commissioned by The National Trust to compose an anthem to celebrate the charity’s 125th anniversary. The song, titled “For Everyone, For Ever” will be performed on 16th May by 23 pop-up choirs at 23 National Trust properties.
I will be leading the choir at Nymans, so come and join me! No experience needed. Just come along, meet new people, discover this special place and have fun. To find out how to take part please click here.
The Springsong performance will start at Alfriston Clergy House, the first house to come under the National Trust’s care in 1896. The song, with lyrics inspired by National Trust supporters, will then travel in a wave across the South East, passing from venue to venue finishing at Waddesdon Manor.
Participating National Trust venues include – Alfriston Clergy House, Sheffield Park and Garden, Scotney Castle, Nymans, Petworth House and Park, Uppark House and Garden, The Needles, Mottisfont, Hinton Ampner, Standen House and Gardens, Igtham Mote, Knole, Polesden Lacey, Clandon Park, Claremont Landscape Garden, Hatchlands Park, The Vyne, Runnymede and Ankerwycke, Osterley Park and House, Cliveden, Hughenden, and Waddeson.
