In a breathtaking Tudor barn in Suffolk, Roger Jackson and Sue Pomeroy will share songs, teaching singing and harmony for Three Days in May.
In two sessions each day we’ll be singing in large groups and small, building confidence and blending those harmonies.
Enjoy learning beautifully arranged pieces from British and American traditions – transatlantic love-songs to rousing shanties.
Dine with your fellow singers at the long feasting table and share the songs that you bring to sing around the wood burner.
In the afternoon do what you will…
The fabulous barn is situated on a working farm set in the glorious Suffolk countryside. Visit the Tudor town of Lavenham, the silk mills of Sudbury…
Take one of the free bikes out for a spin round the nearby villages. Or simply relax with your book in the ancient barn until we re-convene for the cocktail-hour singing session.
There are cosy beds in the open-plan barn, or if you prefer more privacy, bring your own tent, caravan or camper. There’s a well appointed shower block next to the barn and plenty of local Airbnb.
