Further information:

Nicola Wydenbach is an experienced singing practitioner, who specialises in working with people with mental health issues, in a variety of settings from community to secure hospitals.

Nicola Wydenbach started her own mental health choir in Sevenoaks in 2014, called the D’Vine Singers and has now become MD of the Mind and Soul Community Choir. This choir has been running in the Maudsley Hospital since 2006. Nicola has also been successfully piloting a project taking singing onto the acute wards at the Maudsley.

The training day was to be held at the Maudsley itself but will now be online. It will offer practical insights into how to work in this sector as well as a toolkit of useful songs, ideas and practice. The Mind and Soul Community Choir will also be taking part in order for trainees to gain real life skills and meet people with lived in experience.

Drawing on over 20 years of practical experience, the day will prove to be invaluable for practitioners hoping to work in this field.

NB If you have already booked onto the live version of this course, I will be in touch shortly with further details of refunds or transfers. .
