Further information:

Music for Wellbeing CIC are delighted to be running another two training days for people who work musically with people with dementia (or are interested in developing this aspect in their work).

The two days will each cover different aspects of working musically with people with dementia. Each one can be booked as a standalone day, or both together for deeper knowledge and skills. The courses are appropriate for anyone who wants to learn more about working musically with people with dementia, or who wish to refresh their skills or gain new ideas for their own musical work.

The first day takes place on Thursday 27th February in London. The day will be mainly practical in nature, covering different ways of making music and improvising, considering the skills needed to do this work, and giving delegates an opportunity to lead a musical activity in a safe and supportive environment. Early bird prices are available until 31st December. For more information and to book tickets, please go to:

The second day will take place on Wednesday 25th March, 10am – 4pm at Salisbury and South Wilts Sports Club, Wilton Road, Salisbury, SP2 9NY. Early bird tickets are available until 31st January. This one-day training will consider the skills needed to facilitate music workshops with people with dementia (including planning and reflection), working musically in a person-centred way to meet the needs of people living with dementia, songwriting and music creation, and incorporating basic music-related technology into your workshops. For more information and to book tickets for this day, please go to:

Tea and biscuits are included on both courses, but delegates must bring their own lunch.

If you have any queries email or ring 07446 902118.
