The Wild Singing Workshops will include fun engaging warm-ups through to good vocal techniques, which you can apply long after leaving the event. It is an experience is for singers of all abilities, including complete beginners, and will be taught by ear with no experience of reading music necessary. Your lyrics for the songs will be provided on beautiful bespoke designed postcards for you to keep. Wild Singing is all about harmonising with the great outdoors and feeling good.
Born in Cumbria and residing in Cornwall for the last ten years, Janice M has performed for private and public events and in venues all over the Southwest. From jazz to soul, folk to gospel, she fuses a range of genres in her own inimitable vocal style.
Alongside singing in Cornwall-based band The Grace Notes, Janice M is a vocal coach and works regularly with various community groups and runs wild singing events.
The workshop will take place outside within the grounds and will involve walking through the gardens to the location. There are paths, but please be mindful as part of Enys Gardens’ beauty is its rustic, wild charm and so the ground underfoot can be uneven and rough in areas. The exact location within the gardens will be announced closer to the date and information will be available on the day at the entrance.
In the case of bad weather on the day, the workshop will be run inside the beautiful Enys House and so a wonderful rustic experience will still be had. Information will be provided on entrance to Enys Gardens on the day of the workshop.
Tickets are non-refundable.
Facilities: Food, drinks and toilets available/accessible on site as part of the festival.
