Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

D’Vine Singers

Location

Vine Baptist Church, Park Lane, Sevenoaks TN13 3UP

Description

The D’Vine Singers is a Wellbeing Choir with a focus on mental health. We started out as part of a research study into ‘singing and mental wellbeing’ and now run independently, with grant funding, so there’s no fee to join. We sing a wide range of simple part songs, including folk traditions from Britain and around the world, designed to lift the spirits or touch the soul. Above all, we aim to create an atmosphere of fellowship and fun which comes from singing in a supportive group. Although we work on songs from week to week, our sessions are intended as a drop-in so people just turn up when they can. Everyone is welcome and you don’t need experience of singing in a choir or ability to read music. We just hope you will leave feeling fulfilled and with a smile on your face.

Session times

D'Vine Singers meet Fridays 12.00-1.30 pm in term time

Dairsie Community Singers

Location

Memorial Hall, Main Street, Dairsie, Fife. KY15 4SS

Description

We sing simple, unaccompanied rounds and part-songs from a range of traditions and cultures. No need to have previous experience or to be able to read music as all songs are taught by ear. What brings us together is the love of singing and hearing our voices in harmony. Listening to how our voices blend with others is rewarding and we also sometimes enjoy improvisation in a very non-threatening way. Everyone is very welcome.
