Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Feral Voices Community Choir

Location

Tythe Barn, Lopemede Farm, Long Crendon Rd, Long Crendon, Thame OX9 3SH

Description

Songs to ground you, to lift you, inspire and connect you. 💚

A nature-based community choir. I teach simple songs with 3 or 4 part harmonies and rounds, all with a nature-based theme. We’ll cover some songs that can be learnt in a single session, and some that we’ll build over a few weeks. All songs will be taught acapella and there is no sheet music, although occasionally I may provide word sheets for more lyric dense songs.

We gather weekly on a Wednesday evening in a beautiful ancient Tythe Barn with incredible acoustics.  We are an inclusive and friendly community and all abilities are welcome. There is always plenty of tea and biscuits. We have a tiered pricing structure for all incomes, and block bookings and drop ins are both available.

Feral Voices Families Community Choir

Muswell Hill
Brill
Aylesbury
HP18 9TL

Description

This is a group where the primary focus is on adults singing together, while your children enjoy our woodland forest school facility. Additional adults are welcome to come to support and care for the children. You can also come without children! Singing will be directed at adults, but children are welcome to join in any time. I teach simple songs with 3 or 4 part harmonies and rounds, with a nature-based theme. We’ll cover songs that can be learnt in a single session and all songs will be taught acapella.

I am an outdoor educator, facilitating groups in nature connection and children at Forest School. I am also a mother of 2 beautiful children, and singing has been a part of our bond since they were growing in my belly! Singing has been a lifeline for me throughout motherhood and beyond, and I have come to really believe in the healing power and connectivity of song.

Children love to sing, and love to be sung to. Singing facilitates a deeper connection between you and your children. It is such a primal act that can provide emotional soothing and comfort.

Singing together can improve wellbeing as it creates a sense of community, stimulates cognitive function, and reduces stress.
