Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, you will be able to narrow down your search by postcode (or by zooming in on the map.)

If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Feral Voices Community Choir

Location

Tythe Barn, Lopemede Farm, Long Crendon Rd, Long Crendon, Thame OX9 3SH

Description

Songs to ground you, to lift you, inspire and connect you. 💚

A nature-based community choir. I teach simple songs with 3 or 4 part harmonies and rounds, all with a nature-based theme. We’ll cover some songs that can be learnt in a single session, and some that we’ll build over a few weeks. All songs will be taught acapella and there is no sheet music, although occasionally I may provide word sheets for more lyric dense songs.

We gather weekly on a Wednesday evening in a beautiful ancient Tythe Barn with incredible acoustics.  We are an inclusive and friendly community and all abilities are welcome. There is always plenty of tea and biscuits. We have a tiered pricing structure for all incomes, and block bookings and drop ins are both available.

Arrival from 7pm
Singing starts promptly at 7.30-9pm

Forget-me-not Singing Club

Location

Brockenhurst Methodist Church Hall, Avenue Road, Brockenhurst SO42 7RT

Description

What is it?

The Forget-me-not Singing Club is primarily aimed at people living with dementia and/or Parkinson’s disease and their friends, but anyone else who just fancies a good sing on a Friday afternoon would be very welcome to join us!

Songs are from a range of genres and eras – folk songs, pop songs, songs from films and even from Scouts/Guides and school days. We also follow the seasons and come up with some special songs to suit the time of year.

The singing is fun and friendly and there’s no need to worry if you think you are not much of a singer, or a bit rusty – all voices are welcome!

(I am also looking for people to help me during the sessions with things like handing out song sheets and making tea. If you would be willing to help, please let me know!)

Date and time:

We meet at 2pm for about an hour and a half every Friday (with short breaks for holidays).

Location:

The sessions are held in Brockenhurst Methodist Church Hall, Avenue Road, Brockenhurst SO42 7RT. You’ll find the church hall entrance to the left of the main church building.

Getting there:

There are a few parking spaces in front and to both sides of the church, but you can also park for free on the road in front. The church hall is also just a few minutes walk from Brockenhurst railway station (via the gate at the back of the station carpark).

Cost:

£3 per person, which includes free tea/coffee and biscuits.

Get in touch:

I’m very happy to answer any questions you might have, and it would also be really helpful if you could let me know if you are planning to come along (so I can make sure I bring enough song-sheets, and most importantly, biscuits!) Thank you!

Session times
