Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, you will be able to narrow down your search by postcode (or by zooming in on the map.)

If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Mamas Voices

Location

Linslade Community Hall, Waterloo Road, Linslade, LU7 2NR

Description

Mamas Voices is an inclusive singing group created for women and mamas who need some time to focus on themselves.

It’s a relaxed, informal space where you can bring your little ones. They can watch and listen as we grown-ups get to:

  • sing for fun and enrichment
  • build confidence
  • unwind and connect in a friendly group.

We mostly sing acapella and songs are taught by ear. We don’t use sheet music, so everyone learns at the same pace.

We’re not part of a franchise so we can sing whatever we want to.

Our songs are from all over the world and any genre. We choose songs that sound good and are fulfilling to sing.

Manchester Community Choir

Location

Didsbury Baptist Church, Beaver Rd, Manchester, M20 6SX

Description

Manchester Community Choir has been running for around 25 years and has about 80 members. Our repertoire includes songs from all over the world, both modern and traditional, with the odd pop song thrown in for good measure. Within this rich and varied mix, all our songs reflect our values of respect for the world and its peoples, and a belief in freedom, fairness and peace.

We sing acapella and we aim to have fun while we practise and perform. We welcome all comers, and we don’t audition. We keep our subscription rates as low as possible, and they vary depending on members’ ability to pay.

Anyone is welcome to come along and have a free taster session.

Session times

We meet three times per month: 1st Sunday of the month, 3:30-5:45pm, and 2nd and 3rd Mondays, 7:30-9:30pm.

Manchester Larks

Location

95a, Princess Road, Moss Side, M14 4TH

Description

This informal weekly group has been going, in one form or another, since 1991, led by Faith throughout. The group has a number of long-standing members, yet a constant flow of new members, returning ‘old’ members and occasional visitors, keeps it fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. Just like Shylarks, we sing a variety of songs, including some from the standard acapella repertoire, original songs and arrangements, jazz, soul, folk, pop, songs from around the world… whatever takes our fancy. We’re not a performance group, but we occasionally find ourselves getting together with other singing groups for a joint sing, supporting local events or marking significant moments in members’ lives. New members are welcome at any time. No experience is necessary and you don’t need to be able to read music.

Session times

Tuesdays, 7-9pm
