If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

Morning Chorus

Description

Morning Chorus is a weekly women’s singing group for those who want to sing for pleasure. No experience necessary.

The singing group is led by Rebecca Knight, former co-leader of Songlines Community Choir. Over the years Rebecca has led International Women’s Day workshops and has taught at Unicorn Voice Camp, Unicorn Dancing Spirit Camp, Sacred Arts Camp and Whitsun Voice Camp.

Our repertoire: all sorts of songs (all taught by ear)
It is great for your health and general well-being to sing on a weekly basis.
All voices welcome.

Moseley Voices

Description

Moseley Voices is a fun and friendly community choir established in 2007.

We sing a lot of folk, 60s pop and songs from around the place, as well as new arrangements and contemporary acappella songs.

Tea and cake are important aspects of most sessions. We perform a few times a year, including a Summer performance and a January wassail.

The choir is open to anybody who would like to sing. You do not need any previous experience or be able to read music. Songs are taught by ear.

MOSS

Location

St. John's Church, Bolling Road, Ben Rhydding, Ilkley

Description

MOSS was originally a group of men who sang with the Ben Rhydding Community Choir, but who also wanted to sing repertoire for lower voices. At present there are 10 members. Our repertoire includes jazz, blues, folk and pop arrangements, and original songs by Keely Hodgson.

Current MOSS members: Jonathan Cain and Dean Bagnall (tenors); Paul Holmes, Martin Lawley, Jon Lury and Peter Willox (baritones); Peter Horn, Paul Elcock, Ian Balfour and Simon Browning (basses).

MOSS have performed at hotel functions, local community events and concerts, including performing alongside Dominic Stitchbury and his Chaps Choir at St. John’s Church, Ben Rhydding in 2019.
We welcome new members who love to sing and are happy to perform. Prospective members are invited to visit for a few sessions to “try us out”!

Mouthful Voices

Description

Mouthful Voices is an accomplished and fun singing group, where all voices are welcome!

We learn material mainly by ear, with scores and MP3 recordings also available to help you learn.

Led by the talented Bex Mather with the other three singers from a Capella quartet Mouthful (Dave Camlin, Katherine Zeserson and Sharon Durant)
