I have very much been enjoying running a community choir since 2010, first in Portugal and now in Penryn, Cornwall.  I have also been leading Bahjan singing sessions for 30 years. I’ve been a musician for 40 years and have composed many songs, for bands, choirs, community orchestras and film.

I love bringing people together of all abilities to commune in song.

The focus of the choir is to commune in song and not particularly to perform.

We have a more informal Bahjan Sacred Singing song sharing session every full moon. Contact me for more information.

World music, folk, gospel, popular songs, heartwarming harmony, Lively rhythms, friendly group. Informal, no performances.
Open to anyone who wants to sing – no experience necessary! Come when you can (the more the better!) Pay on the door – suggested amount £6.
Fully accessible. Parking available.

This group does exactly what it says on the tin! We are an open group and anyone is welcome to join us on a drop-in basis, or to come every week. We learn songs by ear from around the world.

Open Voice is a friendly open choir of about 60 members. We sing songs from all over the world in acapella harmony. Songs of protest, freedom, songs to uplift. Relax, unwind and let it all hang out, in a friendly, warm, fun atmosphere.

Occasional gigs but there is no pressure to perform.

Wednesday evenings 7.30 - 9pm
