Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Roundhouse Community Choir

Location

The Community Farm, Denny Lane, Chew Magna, BS40 8SZ

Description

The Roundhouse Community Choir was set up in April 2023 by David Emmett, inspired by the surroundings of The Community Farm next to Chew Valley Lake. He has a background singing in choirs including the Shakti Sings, at many workshops and the occasional protest.

Inspirations and mentors include: Sophia Efthimiou, Helen Yeomans, Nickomo Clarke, and Nick and Susie Ro Prater. He fell in love with harmony singing around eight years ago and is inspired to bring a little of its magic to his local community.

This is a drop in choir so there is no commitment to come to all the sessions in a term. We are of no particular faith or political leaning but we do sing songs that have meaning. We focus on humanistic themes and celebrating our relationship with the natural world. The venue is a natural wood framed building set in a beautiful garden overlooking the lake.

The price of each session is £5 per person and can be paid by cash on the day, or multiple sessions can be paid by bank transfer; just ask for details.

Find us on Facebook by searching “Roundhouse Community Choir” for term-times and updates.
