Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a member who is outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Shreen Harmony

Location

1 Boar St, Mere, Warminster BA12 6DD

Description

Shreen Harmony were started by fantastic choir leader and music practitioner Helen Porter way back in 1998. Since 2006 the choir has been run by Caroline Radcliffe.
We sing a variety of musical genres from soul and pop to folk, classical, and songs from other countries, in English and other languages. All songs are unaccompanied and taught by ear. Our sessions are fun and informal, but we also strive to sing to a good standard, and take great pleasure in performing at various events in the local area throughout the year.

A friendly and informal weekly group. We sing a variety of songs, including some from the standard acapella repertoire, original songs and arrangements, jazz, soul, folk, pop, songs from around the world… whatever takes our fancy. We’re not a performance group, but we occasionally find ourselves getting together with other singing groups for a joint sing, supporting a local event or singing under the tree outside at Christmas. New members are welcome at any time. No experience is necessary and you don’t need to be able to read music.

This group, that has been going since 2007, is led by a Teaching Team, with NVN members: Faith Watson,  Anita Ward and Annelie Leinhos plus volunteer leaders from within the wider Shylarks group.
