Find a choir or singing group

On this page you can search for a choir or singing group by its name or by location.

If you are searching in the UK, click on “By location” and select “United Kingdom”, and you will then be able to narrow down your search by postcode. Alternatively you can zoom in on the map.

If you are searching for a choir outside the UK, you will be able to search by country.

Then click on the button to initiate the search. You will then get an outline of the choirs and singing groups which match your search and you’ll be able to view full details. Please use these to contact any choirs that you’re interested in.

If you need to contact the NVN, rather than an individual choir, you can do so by emailing admin@naturalvoice.net

Shakti Sings Community Choir

Location

The Music Room, Spring Grove House, West Thames College, London Road, Isleworth TW7 4HS

Description

Shakti Sings is a community choir for all abilities, with monthly choir days and twice yearly trips to sing at Stonehenge for the summer and winter solstice. We meet one Saturday a month in Isleworth West London for a full day of singing, and have members from across the UK. Shakti Sings focuses on using music as a way to honour the land and each month we will be singing at different points along the River Thames. Our songs are simple to learn and joyful to sing together in harmony. Our next event will be on Saturday 18th May 2024. We are currently accepting new members so this event is open to all. To book please email shaktisingsevents@gmail.com.

We learn  joyful uplifting songs in harmony and perform them outside next to the River Thames at the end of the day (or in the case of May 18th on the following day at our picnic).

What’s special about us is that we don’t meet every week.  While you’re encouraged to (and we think you may WANT To) participate as often as possible, it’s not compulsory to attend every month.

We believe singing is for everyone so come along and try it out, we’d love to welcome you. Sing for joy, sing together, sing to the land!

Next dates: May 18th (&19), June 15th 2024.

***ADDITIONAL SINGING PICNIC ON SUNDAY 19th MAY – new members who attend on 18th are invited to join the picnic on 19th where we will sings the songs learnt on 18th on the bank of the River Thames ***
