An hour of connection & nourishment, singing heartfelt songs learnt by ear, followed by tea & homemade cake.

We’ll start with simple songs, then weave our voices together, layering rhythms & harmonies to create something magical!

All voices are welcome, confident singers, shy singers & everyone in between. There are no auditions, no performances, no solos & no sheets of music. Just joy & connection.

Bring your little one or come as you are. We welcome women of all ages & life phases. Mamas, aunts, grandmothers, pregnant women & women without children.

Our Singing Mamas session is a friendly and relaxed women’s singing group – if you have children, they are welcome too. A soft space with gentle toys and books is set up in the centre of our circle for the little ones.

No previous singing experience is necessary, as all music is learned by ear – all voices are very welcome! We sing because it feels good. It lifts our spirits and fosters connection and community. And after the singing there’s always time for a cuppa, cake, and a chat.

Singing in a group has so many well-being benefits especially during the peri-natal period. It’s proven to stimulate the production of feel good chemicals, like endorphins, and oxytocin, and to reduce stress hormones.

We sing a range of songs in a beautiful village hall around an indoor ‘fire’. When it is warm/dry/light enough, we may also venture into the woods next door to the hall to sing amongst the trees. What could be better than singing in a capella harmony? Singing in harmony out in nature! All abilities welcome.

Sage Sheffield is a charity that provides therapeutic arts/horticulture activities for people whose lives are impacted by mental health problems. Singing through the Seasons is a signing group, run under the umbrella of Sage, for any women who want to join a supportive and friendly group and have a go at singing together.
