Additional information

I love to sing, and I want to share my joy of singing and its benefits with you. I believe everyone should have an opportunity to raise their natural voice in a non-judgemental environment. Everyone can sing!

I trained with Frankie Armstrong and Sarah Harman as a  Natural Voice singing leader.

As a qualified teacher, I have facilitated singing with children and young people, including those who have learning and physical disabilities. In residential and day care settings, I have run singing sessions for adults with learning disabilities, mental ill-health, dementia and other health issues, including Singing for the Brain. I have a Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Sessions are lively, fun and interactive with songs from a range of genres. We will learn simple rounds and harmonies. Depending on the needs of the group, there will be opportunities for singalongs to popular favourites, and the use of simple percussion to keep in time and work on rhythm. Warm-ups and breathing exercises will promote voice health, good breathing and general well-being. Fully inclusive and relaxed, focussing on developing confidence in our natural voices, with no judgement. Everything is taught by ear.
