Described by The Guardian as a \’fine singer,\’ and \’an eye (and ear) opener\’ by fRoots Magazine, Katie\’s latest album Flame follows three previous albums and releases including a song to accompany Road to Peace, a film about the Dalai Lama.
Believing everyone has a voice, Katie is committed to making the magic of singing accessible and inclusive. Her warm, friendly community choir Welcome Choir is based in South London and she also co-directs Breathe Harmony NHS staff choir. She has two singing for wellbeing groups Carers Support Centre Choir and Heartsong.
Passionate about the power of singing to change the world, Katie has directed choir projects for NHS hospitals, hospices, LGBTQ+ groups, carers centres and mental health services and large-scale events including Sing for Water London (2017-2023) and Festival of Peace Croydon 2018 with London Mozart Players. She creates choral arrangements for a wide range of abilities.
With 20 years of experience, Katie offers bespoke vocal coaching and singing lessons for wanna-be and established singers, speakers, writers, actors, therapists, educators, artists and creatives on a mission.
Committed to broadcasting positive news about the arts and wellbeing, Katie has written and broadcast for fRoots Magazine, Turning Point Magazine, Croydon Citizen and Croydon Radio. Her poetry has been featured in two collections and she publishes her Rambling Rose blog and Vocal Revolution Podcast.

Warm, welcoming lively choir who laugh as much as they sing!

We sing acapella songs from global genres in harmony, all taught by ear, working towards fun events including local festivals and mass choir concerts.
