I run dementia-friendly singing for health and wellbeing groups and community choirs.
I have been running Singing for Health and Wellbeing groups (Skylarks) for ten years in the Preston area. All groups are dementia-friendly and all-inclusive, with a strong emphasis on singing for enjoyment and fun.
I also run Singing for the Brain groups in Preston on a freelance basis for The Alzheimer’s Society.
Prior to this I taught music in primary schools for Staffordshire Performing Arts.
Skylarks is a singing for health and wellbeing community choir. We actively encourage those living with dementia to join our groups.
You are most welcome to come and join our friendly singing groups in Chorley. I run two sessions with my sister Louise. We are both really passionate about community singing and the positive effect it can have on health and wellbeing.
