I teach groups and individuals. I am an expert in singing with people with dementia.
I have been running singing groups since 1995 and I am a founder member of the Network.
I teach groups and individuals in and around Sheffield. I run a community choir and occasional workshops. I also offer mentoring to Natural Voice teachers
I’m committed to adding to the evidence base for the health and social benefits of singing; to this end I completed an MSc in Dementia Studies in 2014. My dissertation evaluated the effect of a regular singing group on the social wellbeing of people with dementia and their carers. I sing regularly with people with dementia at Darnall Dementia Group’s day centre.
I’m also a poet, an Alexander Technique teacher and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
