Additional information

I have worked as a freelance community musician, voice leader and visual artist since 2004, specialising in “Sing for Fun” groups and workshops in the Humber region, Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. I recently was the co-lead for a regular singing group for Men, Blokes and Chaps in Hull, which ran once a fortnight in term-time.

I have delivered a variety of funded projects and informal workshops in schools, residential care settings for adults with dementia, and day care centres for young people with learning difficulties and physical disabilities.

Whatever art form I work in, empowerment, inclusion and participation are always key, giving people opportunities to learn and increase skills, to develop their understanding of an art form, and nurturing and unlocking their creativity.
