As a Member of the Natural Voice Network since its founding, I embrace its core philosophy and have over 25 years experience leading all kinds of voice work, including regular community singing groups and various wonderful residential singing holidays. (Usually in Bavaria and Morroco.) I believe that vocalising, creativity, connection and song should be accessible to all regardless of musical ability or experience. Therefore, I believe passionately in creating non-judgemental supportive spaces for people to experience letting out the voice they have, their ‘Natural Voice’ – joining with others and realising what an incredible, moving, joyful, powerful, harmonious sound they can make! It is a wonderful inclusive and accessible way for anyone to participate in glorious harmony singing without any need for previous musical knowledge, skill or talent. I have all kinds of experience leading both spoken and singing voice work in contexts ranging from complex needs children, through animating artwork in Museums, to corporate adult vocal training and team-building. I also work with established choirs and individuals on voice release and technique. I have always held Nature and Season-inspired sessions, an aspect of my work that is deepening hugely through my current 3-year studies on Ecopsychology and Nature-Based Practice.

Cardiff Friends in Harmony Choir is open to absolutely everyone who wants to sing. This group continues to grow and change, and still has some of its original members from 25 years ago. People in this group have experienced a great boost in confidence and well-being. It’s great fun and a very hospitable, welcoming bunch of people who quickly make anyone feel at home. Come and join in!

You do not need any previous experience or musical skill to join in, but if you do have some, that’s great. We learn by ear and sing in harmony. Words and recordings provided online (and occasionally actual music if I have it) All ages and abilities welcome. Anyone is welcome to come and try it out.
Monday 1000-1200
Relaxed Fortnightly Long-running Community Singing Group with an excellent turn-out (usually 30 plus) and a fabulous rosta of differnet choir leaders offering a varied menu of wonderful group singing. Alternate Saturdays in term-time 10.30 - 1pm
Join us at the Scout Hall (Lovely acoustic and very civilised!) in Llandaff North every Tuesday evening 7.15-9.30 Don’t worry if you’ve never sung before – no prior experience is needed. All are welcome to join our harmonious group. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll find yourself singing in perfect harmony with others – even if you thought you can’t sing – and there’s always fun and laughter in this warm and friendly sociable group.
Admission is apay-as you-can-afford at the door (some fully funded spaces available too). So bring your friends, family, and neighbours, and let’s make beautiful music together while spreading love and acceptance. See you there!
