I am a community musician aiming to help people listen and build a beautiful sound together with others for joy and community.

I was classically trained as a child in both voice and piano, but as an adult became more comfortable with Traditional Irish Fiddle and song. I am committed to facilitating people to access their own voice and rhythm to share for FUN with others.

I’m based in Ballinamore, Co Leitrim in the Republic of Ireland, where I run community Sing Together groups. We gather to sing for fun, experiment with our voices with time to chat with each other and our share stories. We sometimes perform, but always with the emphasis on FUN and audience participation.

I have also facilitated the Blue Grass Choir that performs at the Blue Grass Festival in the Ulster American Folk park in Omagh annually.at the end of May.

I have facilitated music classes and workshops for children based on the Kodaly approach, and I have started to run Singing Holidays at the Song House in Donegal.

Finally I have worked in local hospitals singing with patients with dementia and other age-related illnesses.
