A cappella choirs, rock and pop repertoire, arranging
I am Nora Lohmanns, born in 1991, singer and choir leader from Mönchengladbach, Germany, and currently living in Düsseldorf. Through my childhood and teenage years I have grown to love harmony singing. I sang in various choirs, groups and bands and later studied music and English at the Folkwang University of the Arts and the University of Duisburg-Essen.
My studies included 2 years of choir conducting and I have been officially leading choirs since 2019. Currently there are four: ForumVocale (Essen), Rock Choir 60+ (Essen), ConChor (Mönchengladbach) and Wednesday Singing (Mönchengladbach).
I love to write my own arrangements of popular pop and rock songs and I am willing to give them to friends. I would like to sell arrangements in the future but I don’t yet.
Since 2010 I have been a member of the a cappella group “Piece of Peace” from Mönchengladbach, alongside other NVN members, and since 2018 I have been the front singer of a cover band named “Turtle Club” from Essen.
If you would like to get in touch, are interested in my choirs, my band or my arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail: noralohmanns@gmx.de
If you are 50+ years old and would like to keep your voice activated, feel free to join us for a free trial session of harmony singing. We sing a lot of easy to medium a cappella arrangements in various genres and languages, like German, English, French, Spanish etc.
We learn and repeat the songs together, without any pressure or judgment. Fun is most important! Please feel free to contact me via e-mail.

If you are 60+ years old and love singing the rock songs of the 60s, 70s and 80s, then this choir is for you. Any level singers are welcome and we learn songs by ear, no sheet reading required. If you are interested, please contact me via e-mail and come to a free trial session.
